National Voter’s Day 2024
The significance of National Voters’ Day is to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process. It is a day to celebrate the right to vote and vibrant democracy of India. Through National Voters’ Day, the Election Commission’s objective is to increase enrollment of voters, especially of the newly eligible ones.

In order to strengthen the parliamentary system through the election process, in the direction of the Election Commission of India and the Chief Election Officer, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, to give general information to the voters and to make voters all powerful,by providing pure and updated voter list through the process of yearly revision of photographed voter list is prepared.
In today’s electronic era, we are constantly working to reach every voter. Through electronically, citizens of Rae Bareli can apply online on prescribed format for adding, cutting and modifying their name in the Voter List. Information regarding voting are also available on-line to Voters .
Voter Registration Centers have been set up in Tahsils of district and at district headquarters level for the purpose of facilitating voter identity card. All the citizens of the district ,political parties, self-help organizations, principals of all school / colleges, print media, electron media, reputed public representatives are requested to give their cooperation and suggestions from time to time. A link to the Election Commission of India and the Chief Electoral Officer, Uttar Pradesh, is also available on portal of the District Election Officer.
