Feroz Gandhi  College

Feroz Gandhi College is the main center for higher education in the Raebareli district. The college was established on 8th August, 1960 by the then Member of Parliament Sri Feroz Gandhi. At present the college is providing education in four faculties namely "Science, Arts, Commerce & Education". There is also a proposal to  declare it  A Deemed University. 

Once from the college stage, Sri V.V.Giri, then President of India expressed his feelings -

"It is the zeal and animating sprit of it's founder, my esteemed friend late Sri Feroz Gandhi, that is inspiring the workers of this Trust. Looking to the progress of this Institution, I am sure, it will soon form the nucleus of a Rural University."

At present about 90 talented and well educated professors and lecturers are imparting education to approximately 6,250 students in the four faculties of the colleges. Following Post Graduate and Under Graduate courses are being offered by the college.

Self financing evening classes are also there for B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. courses. Fees for B.A. and B.Com. are Rs. 2220.00 and for B.Sc. is Rs. 3220.00
Research facility is also available on almost all the subjects in the college.
