Anybody in search of job or a better job or for a self-employment opportunity can get himself or herself registered in Employment Exchange.

For registration one has to produce copies of his educational qualifications, experience and the local address of correspondence.

Registration of unemployed on the basis of their education, technical qualification, experience, caste, religion and suitability to a job.

The registration data are kept N.C.O. (National Classification of Occupation) wise.

Submission of registered candidates against vacancies notified by employers on the basis of qualification fixed by the employer.

This activity provides information about manpower corresponding to education, age, experience, religion and caste wise.

  Self Employment Promotion

Employment exchanges encourage the unemployed to adopt self-employment by making them available information about various available opportunities of self-Employment.

Candidates who are willing for self-employment are registered separately. Details of the aptitude, economic condition of the family is also kept in records to suggest the most suitable means of self-employment.

Applications are forwarded to various agencies of self-employment and their case is pursued.

  Employment Market Information Programme

Information about employees, vacancies occurred, vacancies for which suitable candidates were not available is collected, compiled quarterly from the employers of the organized sector.

Qualification-wise information is collected, compiled and disseminated annually, (Public sector and Private sector alternately).

Collection of various information under this program is collected under the provisions of compulsory notification of vacancies act 1959.

This program provides information about employed and required manpower Industrial Classification wise.
